My 2025 Accomplishment Cake- What's yours?

Here's a TikTok trend that I fell in love with the moment I saw it. My 2025 accomplishment cake. This morning, I was leaving my 3-month post-surgery appointment. After an all clear from my doctor, I found myself walking to Harris Teeter to buy myself a slice of red velvet cake, pink sticky notes, and toothpicks. $10 was all it took to give myself a wave of pride and gratitude today. It's December 30, 2025, and while this has been easily one of the most mentally and physically challenging years of my life, today I am in awe of the girl I'm watching in this video. It's so easy to get in the rut and rabbit hole of the struggles and sh*tshow that was this past year. And while I thought this may be difficult for me because of the year I had, it came so naturally. Today, I sat down and wrote 12 accomplishments that brought tears to my eyes. I did so much this year, poured great love into so many wonderful humans, and I'm still hopeful for what's to come.

A Slice of My 2025 Wins:

  1. I ran my first half-marathon and signed up for my first full for next year.

  2. I had a health scare, had to get surgery, and am now prioritizing rest.

  3. I spent 3 weeks in Europe (Italy and Portugal).

  4. I went to therapy consistently every week this year.

  5. I taught over 100 spin classes in a studio that I've come to call home.

  6. I dyed my hair back to my natural color after being blonde for over 5 years.

  7. I wrote on my blog- my greatest passion project.

  8. I put myself out there, got hurt quite a few times, and I still have hope for love.

  9. I went to 6 concerts!

  10. I spent hours belly laughing with my friends and leaning on my people.

  11. I got to celebrate my best friends. One got married, two got engaged, and one gave birth to my beautiful baby boy nephew.

  12. I chose me this year.

So there it is! My 2025 accomplishment cake and what went RIGHT this year. I'm beyond thankful for where I've been and excited for where I'm going, despite how many times this year tried to knock me out. I got up. And you should, too. What does your cake look like this year?

Cheers to 2026! A new year, with the same mindset and big heart. Life in my 20s is just getting started ❤️
